Roomwalk: Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Roomwalk is a trade name of Yashil Parmanand Gedam, an individual (sole proprietor) at 1003 Gehlot Majesty, Sector 46A, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400706, India.

2. What Roomwalk is

A design tool for planning and visualising homes and buildings.

Pictures, sizes, quantities, prices and AI suggestions are estimates for visualisation. They are not structural, electrical, plumbing, fire-safety, Vastu or legal advice, and not a building-plan approval. Check anything you will build with a licensed architect or engineer and with your local authority. The Vastu check gives traditional suggestions only. It does not predict health, wealth or luck. Budgets are estimates at big-city prices, not quotes.

3. Your projects and your content

• You own the projects, plans, pictures and files you make.
• Roomwalk does not claim rights in your designs, renders or exports, and does not receive them. They are stored in your browser and in files you save. A share link carries the design inside the link itself.
• Upload or import only material you have the right to use: photos, plans, textures, models and .sbsar files.
• A builder's or architect's floor plan or brochure is usually their copyright. Use it only to picture your own home privately. Do not publish, sell or share a model made from it unless the owner of the plan agrees.
• Decoding an Adobe .sbsar happens only on your computer, for your own projects. Do not use Roomwalk to redistribute Adobe or other paid assets.

4. Community shelf (shared objects) and copyright complaints

Sharing on the community shelf is paused. If it returns, these rules apply, and we will show them before you share.

• When you share an item, you give Roomwalk a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, show, convert (for example make thumbnails) and distribute it on the shelf for as long as it is shared. You give other Roomwalk users a licence to use it in their own projects and pictures, but not to sell or share the item by itself.
• You confirm that you made the item or may share it, and that it contains no one else's logo, brand or copyrighted design.
• Do not share: other people's copyrighted models, plans or brand logos; unlawful, obscene, hateful or defamatory content; content that hurts religious sentiments; content involving minors; malware.
• We may remove any item and suspend sharing.
• We will not use your design in our advertising unless you agree separately in writing.

Copyright complaints (for anything on Roomwalk's site or shelf): write to the Grievance Officer with (1) the work, (2) proof you own it or hold an exclusive licence, (3) where the copy is and why it infringes, (4) the uploader's details if known, and (5) your undertaking to start a court case within 21 days. We act within 36 hours as the Copyright Rules 2013 (rule 75) set out, and we follow any lawful government or court order within the time the law sets.

5. AI features

• SIM's answers, its Vastu suggestions, AI-made 3D models and the computer voice can be wrong. Check them.
• Objects made by AI are labelled "AI-made". Spoken replies are machine-generated.
• SIM online (the assistant): when you use it, your request and any photo you attach are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to produce the answer. Do not include personal data you do not want sent.
• You may not use the AI features to impersonate a real person without consent, or to make deceptive content.

6. Use restrictions passed on from model licences (these are binding on you)

Computer voice (Supertonic, OpenRAIL-M, Attachment A). You may not use it:

• for anything illegal
• to harm or exploit minors
• to spread false information meant to harm
• to share private information that could harm someone
• to present machine-made content without saying it is machine-made
• to defame or harass
• to impersonate anyone without consent (deepfakes)
• for fully automated decisions that affect people's legal rights
• to discriminate
• to give medical advice
• for law-enforcement, immigration or asylum decisions

PC 3D helper (Tencent Hunyuan 3D 2.0 and Hunyuan Community Licences, section 5 and Acceptable Use Policy).

• Not available or licensed in the European Union, United Kingdom or South Korea.
• Do not use the models or their outputs:
• for military purposes
• to break laws
• to harm minors
• to create malware
• to generate deceptive content
• for high-stakes automated decisions about people
• to train or improve any other AI model

7. Third-party material

• Library objects keep their own licences. See Help → Credits and licences.
• CC BY objects must keep their credit if you redistribute them outside a render.
• Brand names are not licensed.

8. Paid plans and payments

Planning your own flat is free: plan, 3D, walk, furniture, SIM, Vastu check, Full HD pictures, plan print, share links and project files. Paid plans give access, for a fixed period, to extra features of the Roomwalk online service:

• Roomwalk Pro: ₹299 for one month or ₹2,499 for one year. It adds 2K and 4K pictures, 3D model files for AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Blender (the 2D floor plan as DXF is free), walkthrough video files, your logo on pictures and reports, and the Ghar Report.
• Ghar Report pass: ₹99 for 30 days of Ghar Reports.
• Price: the price shown is the final price. No GST is charged, because the seller is not registered for GST. There are no other charges.
• One-time payment: each plan is paid once for a fixed period (one month = 31 days, one year = 366 days, pass = 30 days, counted from payment). Nothing renews or is charged automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.
• Free trial: Pro for 14 days, once per browser. No payment details. It ends by itself and charges nothing.
• Who may buy: you must be 18 or older. A minor may use a paid plan only if a parent or guardian buys it; the parent or guardian is then the buyer. If a minor pays, we refund in full on request.
• Payment: handled by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). We never see or store your card details, UPI PIN or OTP, and we never ask for them. For a payment problem you can also contact Razorpay (razorpay.com/support) or your bank, including for a chargeback.
• Delivery: online. Right after payment an access code for your plan appears on screen, and it can be shown again from the link on that page. The code switches on your plan's features until its end date. Nothing is shipped. You do not buy a copy of any software: the Roomwalk app is free for everyone, and your payment is for access to the paid features for your plan's period.
• Access code: it is for your own use (you, your household, or you and your own clients' work). Do not sell or publish it. It works on the devices you paste it into until its end date; a signed-in account can hold it on up to 3 accounts.
• Refunds: a full refund on request within 7 days of payment; a full refund at any time for a charge made in error or a double charge; and a fair refund at any time if a paid feature does not work as described and we cannot fix it. Details: roomwalk.pages.dev/refund.
• No pre-ticked boxes and no hidden charges.

9. Warranty and liability

• We work to keep Roomwalk working and accurate, but the free app is provided "as is", and pictures, sizes, budgets and suggestions are estimates (section 2).
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Roomwalk is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if that is higher.
• This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to refunds owed under section 8 or the law, or to anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

10. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right as a consumer to file a complaint where you live or work, the courts at Navi Mumbai (Thane district), Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We date every version. We show material changes in the app before they apply. A paid plan already bought keeps the terms it was bought under until it ends.
